- The older and left-handed of our Sandefur brothers; can be very tough as he won the district JV singles last spring and continues to improve with the better competition of varsity.
- Very solid addition to our boys’ team; has lots of tournament experience and has some very good potential to be one our outstanding players.
As we begin our season over in Frisco this coming weekend, it will be very interesting to see how this very young team responds to some top-flight competition. We do have some experienced veterans ( 5 senior boys & 1 senior girl Liz Pulido) but really only two of the boys (James Lewis & Jacob Scurlock) have a lot of Varsity experience. Other than these, we are all Freshman and Sophomores. But we do have a tremendously strong and talented sophomore class and some good solid freshman and I think we will eventually be OK. What we lack in experience, we are going to have to make up in hard work and effort and if we do that, it will be a fun and rewarding year.
