John Thomas Theatre Rental Rates

Classification Hourly Rate/Daily Rate (more than 4 hrs.)

II $150.00/$750.00
III $200.00/$1000.00
IV $350.00/$2000.00

Rental rates to include:  
One theatre manager One technician
Normal stage lighting (one scene) Up to 100 chairs
Speaker’s Lectern Up to 4 microphones
Playback equipment: cassette, CD, mp3 Sound monitor on stage (if needed)
Conductor’s Podium Up to 40 music stands
Baby Grand Piano Screen (front projection)
Dressing and makeup areas Custodial Services

*Additional equipment and/or personnel may be added at actual district cost.

*Any group outside of the Texarkana Independent School District will be required to submit a $500.00 Security Deposit due upon approval of the facility use application. Deposits will be refunded within 10 -15 business days following the final day of the rental agreement, pending satisfactory inspection of the facility. (Deposits will not be refunded for cancelations within 2 weeks of performance date without “Special Consideration”)

*The rental fee balance is due upon completion of facility use.

*The superintendent or designee shall have the authority to adjust rental rates in accordance with TISD School Board Policy, SPECIAL CONSIDERATION.
