Current Texarkana Independent School District employees interested in transferring to another position within the District should follow these steps:
- SUBMIT A TRANSFER REQUEST FORM TO YOUR CURRENT PRINCIPAL IN PERSON.
A discussion with your campus principal is required in order for them to approve or deny the request. Approved requests will be sent to the Human Resources office for final approval and placement on the Teacher Transfer List. A copy of the final Transfer Request Form will be sent back to the employee.
- Once your Principal and Human Resources have both approved your request to be placed on the Teacher Transfer List, teachers should submit a brief INTERNAL application for specific internal job openings online at:

Be sure to apply for each job opening in which you have an interest in
- Once you have been placed on the Teacher Transfer List AND submitted an Online Internal Application for specific job openings, you may be considered for job openings on other district campuses.
