Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) was initiated in 1999 by a group of dedicated parents. The largest of our Partners in Education programs, VIPS brings volunteers into every Texarkana ISD campus to work alongside faculty and staff. Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds. They may be members of a group that has partnered with a campus; grandparents; parents, or individuals who want to give back to the community.

Contributions that volunteers make to instructional programs, clerical services, fundraising projects and decision-making leadership are invaluable to the students of Texarkana ISD.
