 Texarkana ISD offers health insurance coverage through the statewide healthcare benefits program
called TRS-ActiveCare. Employees have the option of selecting from three different health benefit plans varying in
coverage with deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance.
Each of the three optional plans are comprehensive in coverage and include prescription drug and
mental health benefits. This program also provides employees statewide access to over 30,000 network physicians and
over 400 network hospitals.
