Texas High students are admitted to dances with a ticket and a student ID. A student will NOT be eligible to attend Texas High dances under the following conditions:

The student has been assigned to step 5 or higher of the Student Management Plan during the current semester.
The student has nine or more tardies for the current semester.
The student has more than five makeup hours for the current semester.

Students may bring a date that is not a Texas High student, but the guest must meet the following criteria:

Must be 19 years of age or younger
Must be currently enrolled in school
Must have no criminal history
Must have no serious discipline infractions at current school (Step 4 or higher of THS Student Management Plan)
Must have a picture ID
Must fill out a guest form and be submitted at least two weeks prior to the date of the dance

If a guest does not meet these requirements, he/she may submit a guest waiver form for the committee to determine the eligibility to participate. This form also must be turned in no later than two weeks prior to the date of the dance. A-21
