The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honor young people in middle and high school grades for outstanding volunteer service to their communities. Emory Scholars Program
Emory Scholar awards span four years of undergraduate study and range from 2/3 tuition to full-tuition, room, board, and fees. While at Emory, scholars may participate in an extensive program of educational enrichment including independent research: they may receive stipends to enjoy cultural and social events; they may use awards to study abroad during the school year; and in their summers, they may participate in diverse service-learning opportunities.

Ben Kaplan’s Power of Family Scholarships
Scholarships are open to students of any age. American Foreign Service Assosciation Essay Contest
The members of the Foreign Service are like the olive branches in the right talon of the American eagle, advising the president and Secretary of State about foreign relations and carrying out the president's foreign policies. The members of the military service are like the arrows in the eagle's left talon. Although these two groups work together for the national interest of the United States, the Foreign Service is not as well known as the military service. The objective of this contest is to help you and other teenagers better understand how the men and women of the Foreign Service serve the national interests of the United States. The Nelson B. In 2006, the USDA and 17 Historically Black Land Grant Universities and Tuskegee University will offer 34 fully paid, 4-year scholarships, use of a computer, summer employment, and employment benefits. Texas Student Housing Scholarship Program
A scholarship program that makes awards available to graduating seniors who are accepted to attend college in Austin, College station, Denton or San Marcos and have not signed off campus housing leases. American Dream Scholarship
Established in partnership with the United Negro College Fund, the American Dream Scholarship Program is open to African Americans with financial need. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, with a minimum 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), who meet Pell Grant eligibility criteria, and are enrolled full time at approved, accredited, undergraduate institutions. First in My Family Scholarship Program
The First in My Family Scholarship Program, developed in partnership with the Hispanic College Fund, offers scholarships to Hispanic-American students who are the first in their family to attend college and have financial need. Unmet Need Scholarships
Open to families with a combined income of $30,000 or less, this program is intended to supplement financial aid packages that fall more than $1,000 short of students' financial need. This scholarship is not designed as a substitute for aid provided by an institution. The Unmet Need Scholarship program is open to US citizens and permanent residents who are accepted or enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at approved, accredited institutions. W Price Jr. Memorial Scholarship
The Texas Restaurant Association offers a scholarship dedicated to the education of future restaurateurs in Texas. The scholarship is worth $5000 for a student attending a four-year university or culinary academy and $2000 for a student attending a two-year college. National Institutes of Health Scholarship Program
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program offers scholarship awards to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral and social science health-related research. The scholarships pay for tuition and reasonable educational and living expenses up to $20,000 per academic year. In return, recipients are obligated to serve as paid employees in NIH research laboratories during the summer and after graduation. The YouthLaunch Scholarship for Outstanding Service honors high school seniors across Texas who lead and serve in their communities, and inspire their peers to get involved as well. The scholarship is a non-renewable $3,000 scholarship. In 2008, three scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who attend school inside the state of Texas. The scholarship checks will made out to the college or university of each recipient’s choice and may be applied to any direct education expense, including tuition and fees, on-campus room and board, or books and supplies.

Louisiana Tech University Music Scholarship
If you are interested in pursuing a music degree, you must audition to be considered for scholarships and admittance into the Department of Music degree programs. The audition process is separate from being admitted to Louisiana Tech. All applicants are encouraged to apply for admission to Louisiana Tech prior to December 1, 2007 to ensure consideration for academic scholarships.
