Texas High School Tiger Camp Gets Freshmen Students and Parents-Guardians Tiger-ized for Upcoming Year

Texarkana, TX – Texas High School will proudly welcome students and parents/guardians of the Class of 2016 during their annual Tiger Camp Freshman Orientation which will be held on Saturday, August 18 from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center & John Thomas Theatre, 3941 Summerhill Road.

Through the Tiger Camp program, freshman students get tiger-ized on everything about Texas High School. Student registration will be from 8:15 – 9:00 a.m. followed by Orientation, School Tour & ID Pictures from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

A Parent/Guardian Orientation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in the John Thomas Theatre and will address parent/guardian concerns and questions followed by a Parent/Guardian Tour of Texas High School from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Students, along with Parents/Guardians, will come together from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. for a fun-filled Pep Rally to kick off the new school year.

During Tiger Camp, participants will also enjoy the opportunity to meet with THS Faculty and Academic Advisors, get information on bus passes, lunch forms, locker assignments and learn about the many THS organizations and departments.
