Bowie-Cass Adult Education Cooperative Offers Summer GED Orientation
Texarkana, TX – The Bowie-Cass Adult Education Cooperative will be offering a Summer General Education Development (GED) credential New Student Orientation on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 10-11 from 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. for those interested in starting classes and earning their GED. Attendance for both days of the orientation is required.
Orientations will be held in the TISD Academic Learning Center, 3201 Lincoln Avenue, and will cover all requirements and expectations of the GED program. Additionally, career planning, transitioning to college and/or workforce information will be shared. Classes are self-paced, flexible and free. If you cannot attend this one, New Student Orientations are held year-round on the first Tuesday of every month.
Other courses offered are English as a Second Language (ESL), Basic Skills Remediation, ASVAB Review and a variety of other online services.
Summer classes are held Monday thru Friday from 8:00 – Noon. Year-round evening classes are from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday thru Thursday.
