Tiger Theatre Company Brings to Life The Music Man
Texarkana, TX – The Tiger Theatre Company has a great show in store for the community when they bring The Music Man to life in November.
Performances will be Thursday through Saturday, November 21 – 23 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. Shows will be in the John Thomas Theatre of the Sullivan Performing Arts Center, 3941 Summerhill Road.
The Music Man is a musical by Meredith Wilson with a plot focused on con man Harold Hill. Hill poses as a band organizer and leader and sells band instruments and uniforms to naïve Iowa townsfolk, promising to train the members of the new band. But, he is no musician and skips town without giving the lessons. Following his personal assistance to the younger brother of the town librarian, he falls in love and risks being caught in town to win her.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door and are $10 Adults/ $5 Students. Children under 7 are FREE. TISD employees receive free admission with badge.
