Texas Middle School Robotics Team headed to State, One Positioned as a Wild Card and Six Teams Round Out Top 15 during TCEA Area Competition
Texarkana, TX – One team state bound, one making the wild card option and six in the top fifteen was a good day for the robotics teams from Texas Middle School during the Area 8 Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) competition held on Saturday, January 11 at the Region VIII Education Services Center in Pittsburg, TX.
Each year, TCEA offer students the opportunity to compete in a prescribed problem contest as well as an open-ended invention contest. Students use marketing, programming, writing, constructing and presentation skills to find a solution for a problem of their choice.

TMS #6 team of Craig Crawford and Zoe Lovett received Eighth Place; TMS #2 team of Zachery Funches, Abdullah Nseirat and Logan Richardson earned Ninth Place; and TMS #4 team of Noah Addie and Kenichi Pass brought home Tenth Place.
