TISD Gifted & Talented Program to Present Prince Ugly
Texarkana, TX – Students of the Texarkana Independent School District Gifted & Talented program will host a benefit performance of “Prince Ugly” by Matt Buchanan on Thursday, February 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the Westlawn Elementary School cafeteria, 410 Westlawn Drive.
“Prince Ugly” is a contemporary fairy tale about a young prince who is cursed at birth, like Sleeping Beauty – only this is a very different kind of curse. Poor Prince William is the ugliest child on the plant. Children run from his face, and even strong men quail. The spell can only be broken when the prince makes a real friend – but how can he, when everyone is afraid of him?
Come enjoy this zany story about identity and friendship. Admission is $3 with all proceeds benefiting the Texarkana Animal League.
