Great American Comedy - You Can't Take It With You - Makes its way to the John Thomas Theatre courtesy of Tiger Theatre Company

Texarkana, TX – A comedic play, in three acts, will make its way to the John Thomas Theatre in November courtesy of the Tiger Theatre Company.

Performances will be November 6, 8, 14 and 15 at 7:00 p.m. and November 9 and 16 at 2:00 p.m. Shows will be in the John Thomas Theatre of the Sullivan Performing Arts Center, 3941 Summerhill Road.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, by the team of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, is considered one of the greatest American comedies ever written. Alice Sycamore must introduce her fiancé's straight-laced family to her rather more eccentric family. When the wildly different families meet, the worlds of the wealthy, uptight Kirbys and the off-kilter Sycamores collide. At first the Sycamores seem mad, but it is not long before the audience realizes that if they are mad, the rest of the world is madder.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door and are $10 Adults/ $5 Students. Children under 7 are FREE. TISD employees receive free admission with badge.
