Parents & Students Can Develop the Plan for High School and Beyond during Upcoming Freshmen Workshop

Texarkana, TX – With the right plan, great things can happen! Whether exploring careers, preparing for education, or searching for extended learning opportunities, students and parents/guardians should learn how to build a strong foundation on which to develop a successful future.

The Texas High School College & Career Readiness Department will host a Freshman Workshop focusing on exploring colleges and careers for any and all 9th grade students and their parents/guardians. The workshop will be held on Monday, December 8 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the John Thomas Theatre, 3941 Summerhill Road.

The workshop will address information on: college and career connections; state of Texas foundation graduation requirements and the five endorsement areas now offered.
