Texas High School Band Receives UIL Sweepstakes Award. Symphonic Band Earns First Division Rating & Concert Band Scores Straight 2s
Texarkana, TX – During the University Interscholastic League Concert Contest in March, Texas High School Symphonic Band earned First Division Ratings from all judges for both concert and sight reading. With this accolade, the THS Tiger Band was awarded the coveted UIL Sweepstakes Award for yearlong achievement of First Division Superior Achievement in marching performance, concert performance and sight reading.
Texas High’s Concert Band was awarded straight 2 ratings for concert and sight reading.
