Seventeen Medals Earned by Texas Middle School Art Students
Texarkana, TX – During the Junior Visual Art Scholastic Event (JR. VASE) at Redwater High School on March 28, Texas Middle School Pre-AP 8th Grade students earned a total of 17 Silver Medals with two students bringing home Area Superior medals for highest overall scores.
Grace Comer and Kayla Walthall were each awarded two Silver Medals for their artwork and also received the prestigious Area Superior Medal for overall highest scores on their pieces.
Other students receiving two Silver Medals for their entries were: Ethan Arndt, McKenzie Brown, Briley Court, Maryanne Garcia and Victoria Van.
Students receiving one Silver Medal were: Preston Allen, Nick Graves and Hannah Klein.
