Three THS Business Professionals of America Students Earn Top Awards at State Competition; Two to Serve as Representative to National

Texarkana, TX – Texas High School student members of the Business Professionals of America (BPA) Chapter earned top awards and positions during the BPA State Leadership Conference in Austin, Texas.

Odin Contreras received Fourth Place in Digital Media Production. Mason Shoalmire earned Eighth Place in C# Programming. Both were also named as National Alternates. 

Blaire Berry was selected to the position of State Historian.

Berry will represent the state of Texas and Contreras, as President, will represent Area 1 Region 3 at the National BPA Leadership Conference in Boston, Massachusetts in May.

The mission of Business Professionals of America is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills.
