Gabriella Bermea Crowned Miss THS 2013 - Other Tiger Beauties Named

Texarkana, TX – During the annual crowning of Tiger beauties on March 2, Gabriella Bermea was chosen as the 2013 Miss Texas High School.

Gabby, who also won the Talent Award, is a Senior and the daughter of Lana & Roy Bermea. She serves as President of National Honor Society and is a member of Student Council, THS Leadership, Rosebud Junior Garden Club, Revolutionary Prayer Movement and is a All-American member of the THS Cheer Squad. Gabby is an AP Scholar and member of the T-BOTS Robotics Team, Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society, serves as a Ross Perot STEM Academy Ambassador and actively participates in the THS Vocal Ensemble, where she has been named a Gold Medal Soloist and six-time All-Region member.

She has over 4,000 hours of community service with area charitable organizations, is a member of Church on the Rock and as a Third Degree Black Belt holds the World Tae Kwon Do Alliance National and International Forms Championships and is a four-time United Family of Martial Artists National Champion.

Second Runner-up & Interview Winner: Brianna Wesson, daughter of Jacqueline Wesson;

Third Runner-up: Victoria Knowles, daughter of Nancy & Chris Knowles;

Fourth Runner-up: Allye Prather, daughter of Angie & Tim Dineen;

“Jeanie Copeland” Miss Congeniality Award: Olivia Walker, daughter of Abigail Edwards Walker & Robert Walker.
