Daylan O'Neal Named International DECA Finalist; Five Other Texas High School Students named State Finalists
Texarkana, TX – Daylan O’Neal, Texas High School DECA student, was named an International DECA Finalist during the recently held state competition in San Antonio, TX. Over 4,440 students competed for the opportunity to move to the National level.
As a state winner, O’Neal has now earned the right to compete in the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, CA in April. His project focus will be on Financial Consulting.
Students named as State Finalists were:
Odin Contreras & Michael Murphy – Entrepreneurship Business Plan;
Marisol Aguilar, Ravon Cornelius & Isaiah Germany – Entrepreneurship Promotion.
Students are coached by Pam Hamilton, THS DECA Sponsor and Career & Technology Marketing Teacher.
