Bowie-Cass Adult Education Cooperative Can Help You Transition to College or the Workforce by Earning Your GED Now

Texarkana, TX – If you are currently focusing on transitioning to college or the workforce, the Bowie-Cass Adult Education Cooperative can help open the door for you through their GED program.

A General Education Development (GED) credential New Student Orientation will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 5-6 from 8:00 a.m. - Noon and 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. for those interested in starting classes and earning their GED. Attendance for both days of the orientation is required.

Orientations will be held in the TISD Academic Learning Center, 3201 Lincoln Avenue, and will cover all requirements and expectations of the GED program. Classes are self-paced, flexible and free. If you cannot attend this one, New Student Orientations are held year-round on the first Tuesday of every month. Other classes offered include Distance Learning and ESL.

Year-round day classes are held Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. – Noon. Year-round evening classes are from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday thru Thursday.

2013 will be the last year for the current test and previous scores to be rolled over into the next year. Beginning in January 2014, a new rigorous, more expensive, computerized based test will be implemented.
