and Reading

 

Four and One-Half Credits Total

 

Four  Credits must consist of:

·          English I (1 credit) *

·          English II (1 credit) *

·          English III (1 credit)

·          English IV (1 credit)

 

* English I and II for Speakers of Other Languages may be substituted for English I and II only for identified immigrant students with limited English proficiency

 

One-Half Credit to include:

Communication Applications

(½ credit)

 

Four and One-Half Credits Total

Three Credits must consist of:

·          Algebra I (1 credit)

·          Geometry (1 credit)

·          Algebra II (1 credit)

 

Students must be enrolled in a math course during grades 9, 10, and 11.    Students are encouraged to take Precalculus and Calculus or Statistics.

 

 

Three Credits must consist of:

·          Algebra I (1 credit)

·          Geometry (1 credit)

·          Algebra II (1 credit)

 

Students must be enrolled in a math course during grades 9, 10, and 11.    Students are encouraged to take Precalculus and Calculus or Statistics.

 

 

Science

 

Three Credits must include:

·          Biology (1 credit)

 

Two credits from:

·          Integrated Physics and Chemistry (1 credit)

·          Chemistry (1 credit)

·          Physics (1 credit)

 

Students must be enrolled in a science course during grades 9, 10, and 11.    Students are encouraged to take Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.  Students who have completed the three state science credits may enroll in other science electives or in Anatomy and Physiology of Human Systems for the eleventh grade requirement.

 

Three Credits must include:

·          Biology (1 credit)

 

Two credits from:

·          Integrated Physics and Chemistry (1 credit)

·          Chemistry (1 credit)

·          Physics (1 credit)

 

Students must be enrolled in a science course during grades 9, 10, and 11.    Students are encouraged to take Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.  Students who have completed the three state science credits may enroll in other science electives or in Anatomy and Physiology of Human Systems for the eleventh grade requirement.

 

Social Studies and Economics

 

 

Four Credits must consist of :

·          World Geography Studies (1 credit)

·          World History Studies (1 credit)

·          U. S. History Studies Since Reconstruction (1 credit)

·          U. S. Government (½  credit)

·          Economics (½ credit)

 

Four Credits must consist of :
