Enrollment

Any student new to Texarkana Independent School District or who did not complete the prior school year in a TISD school is REQUIRED to complete the registration process. Information and forms can be found in the left-hand links.

All students who have a language other than English (or in addition to English) listed on the Home Language Survey will be referred to the campus LPAC representative to proceed with state-mandated testing to determine language proficiency, program placement, and to continue with the enrollment process. A potential emergent bilingual student is assessed by trained testing personnel who utilize assessment from the Texas Education Agency List of Approved Tests for Assessment.
