ELEMENTARY & SECONDARY REQUEST
FOR ON-CAMPUS LEARNING

Texarkana ISD believes the most successful learning environment for our students is in the on-campus classroom face-to-face with their teacher. Please see details below if you are interested in changing the current learning option for your student from AT-HOME REMOTE to TRADITIONAL ON-CAMPUS instruction.


ELEMENTARY

By Friday, December 11, TISD Parents/Guardians will have the opportunity to change their elementary student's learning instruction for the 4th Six Weeks (January 6 - February 12) to Traditional On-Campus Learning.

A link is provided below to submit your request form to return to On-Campus Learning. The form must be completed by Friday, December 11 at 5:00 p.m.

Students will return to campus on Wednesday, January 6.

Any forms submitted after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11 will be saved for the next student return to campus for the 5th Six Weeks.

Special Requests Outside of Established Timelines
In the future, if special circumstances arise, outside of the established timelines, parents/guardians may request approval for an earlier return date for on-campus instruction.

These special requests MUST BE SUBMITTED in writing to the student's home campus administrator. Special requests will be reviewed and the parent/guardian will be notified of the decision in a timely manner.

Elementary special requests may take additional time to process, due to staffing and class size considerations.

Instructions regarding return of instructional materials, such as textbooks, manipulatives and campus issued technology devices and hotspots will be sent to you prior to the day your student will return to school.


TEXAS MIDDLE SCHOOL

Texas Middle School At-Home Remote students may return to On Campus Learning at any time by submitting your request in the form provided via the link below. Once the form is completed and submitted, the campus will contact you by email/phone call with the date your student can return to On-Campus Learning. Please allow 24 hours (not including weekends or holidays) for the campus to process your request.

Texas High School and OPTIONS Academic Alternative High School At-Home Remote students may return to On -Campus Learning at any time by submitting your request in the form provided via the link below. Once the form is completed and submitted, the campus will contact you by email/phone call with the date your student can return to On-Campus Learning. Please allow 24 hours (not including weekends or holidays) for the campus to process your request.
