The Texas High School Coaches Association is proud to recognize the 2024-2025 Academic All-State Recipients
The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Academic All-State Teams recognized high school athletes, trainers, and managers who excel in the classroom and on the field or court. To be nominated, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a senior athlete, trainer, or manager
- Be in good standing with the team
- Have good moral character
- Have an overall grade point average above 92
“We understand that students’ performance in the classroom can sometimes be difficult to manage while participating in athletics, but their hard work has not gone unnoticed,” said an announcement on the THSCA website. “The THSCA Academic All-State Teams recognize high school athletes who excel in GPA, class rank and ACT/SAT score. The students are being recognized as a team member based on their scores in these categories.”
Texas High School had three student-athletes make the elite team. Max Likins made the First Team in Boys Cross Country, Carlyn Clack made the Second Team in Volleyball, and Kyndal Lee earned Honorable Mention in Volleyball. We applaud them for their commitment and dedication to perform with the highest of excellence academically and on the field or court.
